Many people who live in Hazlet consider themselves to live “down the shore”.  Also known as exit 118 off the GSP is the same exit everyone takes to reach a fabulous destination in the summer Sandy Hook Beach.  There is so much more than “just a beach” when you enter the Sandy Hook area.  They offer summer concerts and so much more.  Take a peek here, to see all the activities.  Sandy Hook, however, is truly just the beginning.  There are so many beaches, and beach towns that Monmouth County offers.  Take a look, and take some time to visit the different shore towns… Each one has character of its own.
