Bradley Beach is a fabulous little seaside community. Located between Avon by the Sea and Ocean Grove, Bradley Beach is a gorgeous town where you can spend hours and even days.  The boardwalk here is small, but there is plenty to do in the local area.  Bradley Beach has a total area of 0.63 square miles including 0.61 square miles of land and 0.02 square miles of water.  This, year-round family-oriented town is designed for strolling along Main Street and enjoying our many retail stores, our colorful flowering parks, the delicious food in our many restaurants, and our varied entertainment venues.

I mentioned the boardwalk in Bradley Beach is small, but it does extend about a mile from end to end. Bradley DOES allow you to bike on the boards, as long as it’s in the morning before 10:00 am!  You’ll often see people sitting and relaxing or reading at the Fifth Avenue Gazebo.  Steal some quiet time and enjoy the ocean breeze.  At the beachfront, everyone enjoys our clean, well-maintained beaches and the security of our well-trained and experienced lifeguards. Everyone looks forward to listening to the nightly music at the main gazebo. With so much to do, the beachfront attracts visitors from sunrise to sunset and beyond. Bradley Beach has a ton of events on the boardwalk during the summer.  One of the most popular by far is the Lobster Fest.  Keep an eye out for that one!

Bradley Beach NJ is the kind of down-to-earth beach town that everyone can love.  It is a summer escape all year round.  Main Street, is just 6 blocks from the beach. Walk or drive the lovely tree-lined streets heading directly to the beach, where you will find our beautiful boardwalk and oceanfront.  Breathe in the fresh ocean air, relax as you take in the beautiful scenery, and enjoy our sparkling clean beaches.  Feel free to take advantage of the oceanfront playgrounds, bocce ball and mini golf for all ages, and refreshment kiosks.  Or just spend your time on the sand and play some frisbee, football, or volleyball, and cool down with a dip in the ocean!  Enjoy swimming with lifeguards, fishing and surfing areas, and full facilities.  Everyone can appreciate the desirable, less crowded beaches to our Jersey Shore neighbors, and non-commercialized boardwalk, yet still offering amenities and a great downtown.  …Can you hear the seagulls yet? Bradley Beach offers a wonderful oceanfront 4th of July Fireworks display, Memorial Day Festival & Parade, Lobsterfest, and a host of other summer events. Also, evening oceanfront dancing at the 5th Ave. boardwalk gazebo, and other fun-themed events!

Today, there is a year-round population of 4,400 which increases to approximately 30,000 during the summer months.  So this is the perfect time to talk about parking.  Especially for the beach.   Parking Pay Stations are located on the east side of Ocean Avenue and the East End of Bradley Blvd. Payment is required from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at $1.50 per hour. Cash, Credit, and Debit Cards are accepted as payment.   Parking is free on the west side of Ocean Avenue.
