No matter where you live in Monmouth County, be sure to check out the Monmouth County Park System. From endless trails to playgrounds to historic sites, From Spray Grounds to Beaches, the Monmouth County Park System has facilities to suit the needs of all residents of Monmouth County. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall there are always activities available. The Parks System offers areas available for recreation, exercise, nature, and relaxation to visitors of all ages looking for enjoyment outdoors.

Take a stroll along the boards

The Boardwalk seems a bit more like a paved walkway and is 1.39 miles / 2.23 km.  If you’re looking to take a stroll or go for a jog, this is a wonderful place. If you are like me, and enjoy looking at “shore” houses, this area of walking won’t disappoint.  Important to note:   There are public restrooms, as well. Dogs are allowed during certain times of the year – be sure to check the signs posted for more information!

Dog-Friendly Beach

There’s 1 dog-friendly beach in Manasquan, NJ. Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area, located at 391 3rd Ave, Manasquan, NJ, US, 08736-0000.  This area is the last undeveloped section of the Manasquan Inlet. The 55-acre site is a great place to fish, walk on the beach, or go sunbathing. Dogs are WELCOME at the Eastern section of the beach, but they must be leashed at all times. (The Western section of the beach has been designated “dog-free.”)
