Marlboro Township | Episode 1

Hello and welcome.  I am starting a new series of  blogs and videos called “Frequently Asked Questions about Marlboro and Morganville, NJ ”.   In this series I’ll be talking about many of the questions that I get as local real estate expert by people thinking about moving to the area.   I live and work in Marlboro Township, but I do service all of beautiful Monmouth County when it comes to Real Estate.

If you have been following me for awhile on social media, you know that I absolutely love living in and working in Marlboro Township.  Sooo consider this fair warning that i’m a bit biased when I talk to you all about the amazing area of Monmouth County and more specifically what Marlboro Township has to offer!

So let’s start with an easy one.  Where exactly is Marlboro, and how big is the area?

Marlboro Township is located in Monmouth County, New Jersey.  Currently the population is just under 41,000 residents. To put this in plain good ole NJ terms,  Marlboro in not far off of exit 118 on the Garden State Parkway. Yes Yes it is true. All of us who live here, or anywhere in NJ usually  give our location by the exit number on the parkway. To give you an even better understanding of where Marlboro Township is located, we are just one short exit away on the GSP from the Sandy Hook Beach exit?  I mean everyone is familiar with Sandy Hook right?

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 30.471 square miles and borders Aberdeen Township, Colts Neck Township, Freehold Township, Holmdel Township, Manalapan Township and Matawan in Monmouth County, and Old Bridge Township in Middlesex County.

When it comes to schools, marlboro has 5 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and is part of the Freehold Regional High School System.  I did do an entire video devoted to the school system, so you may want to check that out!

Okay, so I did say that I love living and working in Marlboro Township right?  Check out some of these awards and articles that Marlboro has been mentioned in over the past few years!
