Edgemere Heights, is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Matawan NJ, and today I’m going to give you a quick tour of the community.
Oh, and I did do a video on Edgemere Heights a few years ago. Let’s just say a few things have changed, I have changed. But it’s a good video and it focuses on the surrounding areas, so take a peek when you can!
Edgemere Heights is a desirable community that’s located in Matawan New Jersey. Just a few moments from the Garden State Parkway, This neighborhood is also located near Lake Lefferts, in fact, some homes back right up to this gorgeous lake. These single-family homes range from around 1,800 sq feet and can exceed 3,000 square feet.
The exclusive Edgemere Heights neighborhood in Matawan New Jersey is one of the most difficult real estate markets to buy a home in. This community offers larger homes with acreage, many of which are custom-built. For those who wish to buy a home within a commute to New York City, this subdivision could be a good choice.
The Edgemere Heights subdivision in Matawan NJ does not have a large number of homes for sale, but it does have a range of styles to offer. Some luxurious homes sitting on several acres of land exist here. More typical are four-bedroom homes with about 3000 square feet of living space. Some of these more traditional homes were built in the mid-1950s and 1960s, while newer homes were built in the 1980s. Many feature beautifully landscaped yards, inground pools, retreat areas, fireplaces, and master bedroom suites. Home prices range from $550,000 on up.
For those residents of Matawan NJ, who want to buy a home near it all, the Edgemere Heights community may be ideal. It is a short drive to the Garden State Parkway and within walking distance of New York City buses and trains. Sandy Hook Bay, I-34, and I95 are all about a 15-minute drive from the community.
With limited homes for sale, the Edgemere Heights neighborhood is hard to buy into but well worth exploring. There are other amazing areas in Matawan NJ, so if you would like more information JUST ASK!
