Do NOT move to Marlboro Township UNLESS…..

If you are thinking of moving to Marlboro New Jersey I’m going to give you 6 reasons why you will HATE it here.

Welcome back to the channel all about Monmouth County and Marlboro Township in New Jersey.  If you like to stay up to date on all things real estate and Monmouth County related, you have come to the right place!  I put out new content each week so check back often!

Be sure to stick around for my list of 6 reasons why you are not going to like living here in Marlboro Township.

Reason number 6

You hate fabulous restaurants.  We may not be New York City, But Marlboro Township has it’s fair share of great places to dine.  We have:  Osteria,  we have Cuzins, we have Sam Vera,  and Over Easy.  We have Grill point and Galata, Masa and Crown Palace.  And that’s just to name a few.  Not to mention you can drive just a few minutes to a surrounding town and explore their amazing restaurants too.

And if you’re that person that doesn’t like to go out to eat, at least we have some fantastic local grocery stores.

Reason number 5

If you are going to want to travel super far to get to an airport.  You are NOT going to like living in Marlboro, NJ.  We have so many large international airports all around us!  You can be at Newark Airport in around 30 minutes.  If you need a few more options, well let’s see.  There is JFK, Laguardia, Phili, Trenton, Atlantic City, should I continue?  Let’s just say for those who need to travel often for business, or those of us who like to travel for pleasure, proximity to airports is NOT a problem.

Reason number 4

If you really don’t care about public schools, you will not be interested Marlboro Township what so ever.  I mean why bother moving here if you don’t want top rated schools?

Marlboro Township School District is a highly rated, public school district located in Marlboro, NJ. It has 4,868 students in grades PK, K-8 with a student-teacher ratio of 11 to 1.  According to state test scores, 71% of students are at least proficient in math and 77% in reading.  The district has its own early learning center, 5 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 1 high school party of the Freehold regional District.  If education is of no importance to you, DO NOT  move to Marlboro Township!

Reason number 3

If you have no interest in living in a town with amazing police, fire and first aid squad.  Marlboro Township is 100% not the town for you!  The first responders in Marlboro go above and beyond all the time and I do mean all the time.  ( I mean take a peek at this drive by birthday wishes they delivered everyday for 3 months)  If you don’t want to feel safe, and don’t care that there is a great group of people who have your back, “stay away from Marlboro NJ”.  Our Police, fire and first aid members just spent 7 days a week, for 3 months volunteering and driving around during the covid pandemic to wish happy birthdays to children of all ages in Marlboro Township.  They had their police cars, fire trucks and ambulances, with lights and sirens driving around the cheer up the local residents.  I mean seriously?  DO NOT MOVE HERE, if government employees and first responders mean nothing to you.

Reason number 2

If you like packing up your car during the  summer and driving for hours and hours to get to the beaches, you are not going to like living in Marlboro Township.  The jersey shore has some absolutely amazing beaches and shore towns, and Marlboro Township is located just a short drive away.  You can head to places like, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Avon, Spring Lake, Sea Girt, Ocean Grove, Long Branch, Asbury Park and Manasquan to name a few in under  30 minutes.

And the number 1 reason you may not like Marlboro Township.

If you don’t like gorgeous houses, you are NOT going to like it here, at all.    We have so many styles of homes here.  New houses, Older houses.  Houses with so much character and not to add so much space!  Luckily there are enough different styles here for everyone, and I can’t imagine you won’t find something you like

So, if access to international airports, great education, short drives to the beach, and gorgeous homes, aren’t your thing, then yeah, you should probably just stay where you are.  You’d hate it here.

In the meantime, I’ll be here…. suffering!  If you’d care to join me, don’t hesitate to give me a call. I’d love to help you and your family settle in the incredible… I mean AWFUL place!

Thanks so much for joining me this week.  I’ll see you next monday when i’ll be back to talk about something else that has to do with Real Estate, Monmouth County and Marlboro.
