2022 Beach Access Fees
Beach badges are required for admission to Belmar’s beaches from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Weekends and Holidays and 9am-5pm weekdays, from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day.
The fee for daily badges is $10 per day (children 13 and under are free). Seasonal badges are available for $70 and $30 for senior citizens, aged 65 and over with identification verifying age. An additional processing fee will apply to all seasonal and daily badges. (No Refunds)

Daily badges must be ordered via phone/mobile device prior to heading to the booth.
Once ordered, show QR code to booth attendant to receive your wristband and access to the beach.
Daily badge booths are located every few blocks along the boardwalk.

Belmar also offers free beach admission to active members of the military and their families, Gold Star Family members and disabled veterans

Restrooms are available at 3rd, 5th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 16th, and 19th Avenues. There are no changing rooms or private indoor showers except for outdoor showers on the beach.
Metered parking is available along Ocean Avenue; free on-street parking is available along side streets.
The boardwalk offers food stands and restaurants, including outdoor cafes, small shops and public restrooms.
Belmar allows bonfires and picnics on the beach in a designated area. An application for a permit and approval by the Borough Fire official is required. The permit imposes many limitations, conditions, and restrictions for use of the beach for bonfires and picnics. The designated beach area lies between the foot of First Avenue and the high water mark of Shark River and the Atlantic Ocean.
